advertising an online game

So Ive made my own online game server...
so I have a pretty good net connection (???download / 100mb upload)
and an empty rpg game server that needs people to play on it.

Tbh im doing it for the love, but I could potentially make good money from it. (like others have done before)


I was thinking about using face book or twitter to advertise but I have no idea how to go about that.

What game are you talking about? If it is Lineage, I know several guys in Europe that run a couple of servers each, making a good amount from donations, about $2-3k/month.They advertise on fb and a few big gamers forums that they came across.

Sounds fun! Maybe try advertising with adspace on other MMOs or something.
