Hello guys I was wondering, is it OK if I advertise my instagram profile on facebook groups, niche related forums etc. by spamming its link around the web ?
Another question: Where can I advertise my IG profile ? Can I advertise it using facebook ads ? Thanks.

I can't see why it's not ok, as long as you make it in a nice way. but if you spam it, it might backfire, so be careful about how you spam

Its best to feel out certain websites and forums, only because you risk the chance of getting blocked. Some sites have rules and such. But for the most part spread your links.

You will be blocked from facebook, if you spam. Try with others sites.

I would be very cautious of "spamming" your IG profile because owners of a site, mods or even people will actually report your account to IG for spam.

If you do it in a subtle way, then it could work.

I agree with others, I wouldn't advise spamming to get visits to your account.
Even though you may not care that you will get banned from the site, where you spam, but your account might get reported.
