That is not true at all, old channels just have advantage when it comes to spamming.

That's because YouTube wants to give a chance for new channels to shine. Also, an old (and used) account may actually have some flags that affect its rankings today.

new channels can rank equal to or better than aged channels with good content.
that's happened to me from a lot of tests.
old channels have trust factors/advantage for spamming etc.
but for ranking both aged and fresh channels can rank.
in a lot of cases I've seen freshly created channels video blow up on day 1 or 2 by luck.
I have to agree. While there may still be an advantage (ever slightly) for an older channel than a newer channel with the exact same quality content, I don't think it means much. Content is King followed by exposure (both go hand in hand, without the one the other will falter). I'd say aged or new account is the last factor on the list. There are 8 billion humans on the planet. If you could somehow instantaneously reach out to all 8 billion people at the same time, anyone could be famous with crap content. But you may not be good at it or last very long.

With new accounts you will need consistency but aged will put your first video right into first page. This is no misinformation .

The Truth:
Only Aged account with at least (approx) 100-200k+ of old views (video and views are from 2009 example) is able to have some sort of resistance when it comes to ban, so ban will come with some delay. In some cases accounts can hold for a long period of time, several months with being spammed, depends of some YouTube factors that are surely not familiar to the public, but one of those is views amount. Few M of views are very stable accounts to go with spam campaign.
Beside this, nothing else matters, old vs new = the same, no differences at all.
For those who still claim aged accounts are better (in any scenario) they are very wrong, but that's nothing to worry about.
They will just pay more cash to account dealers. It is important to keep your mind feeling safe

Content is king. Some people say that old channels rank better, some of them say that that's not the case. You can do a split test and see the results.

i stand by my statement, its still pure misinformation.
ive had friends with freshly created gmails and youtube accounts that blew up within a few days to 1 million views just coz their video was good in the gaming niche.
whats the explanation for that LOL?
please dont tell me only aged channels blow up coz thats retarded.
thats not how yt works. random freshly joined channels in many cases getting lucky with algo right away.
there were cases of some kids who recently made yt channels but they had no idea why they even went viral.
and ive seen several recently created channels, all blow up .
not even aged accounts.
I have seen people ranking video after video using aged accounts. These people don't depend on luck they know they will rank for the keyword.
I am not talking about content . It is obvious that good content will rank no matter the account age. But with aged accounts you can rank even shit content atleast you can get it to first page just with SEO .
I have used all new aged with and without videos and nothing beats aged accounts with videos. If you want to be sure you want a video to rank aged accounts would be my first option.
These accounts are popular for Blackhat niches to prevent ban and ranking gains they provide. It's no brainer with Google or any social media that aged accounts have extra edge over new accounts.
It's just my observation . People are free to test and work with whatever suits them. Op asked the advantages I listed them .

What about old accounts around 2009-2011 that have over 1 million organic views? Wouldn't they rank much better or would it depend on the niche that it was previously getting views from
