Indexing has nothing to do with the CMS used. It's all about how many links you have and how good those links are. Also, the internal linking structure can affect in a good way or in a bad way the indexing process. For example having lots of duplicate pages or not having a good internal linking structure can make it hard for SE to find all pages.
The idea is, you have links that stay the same on every page - link to homepage, link to major categories or whatever you have in the navigation bar and sidebars. Aside from that it is a good idea to link either to random posts or related posts from within each post. That gives you more links to deep pages.
Also it helps with indexing large pages to make pagination display 10+ pages (prev | 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 | next) and display many posts per page (20-50) instead of the usual 10.
Bottom line is having your site indexed is useless because what you want is to rank not just exist in the SE. A site with only 50 well optimized (including off-site/links) pages can make a lot more money than a site with 100,000 pages that get no juice from external links.
