Advanced PBN / Linking Tactics

What's up everybody. So one thing that keeps popping up now and then is the issue of only being able to use a PBN site for 2-3 links to your money site. After 2-3 links (homepage and 1-2 internal pages) the effect starts to diminish. So unless you're letting other people post on your PBN or selling links you really can't get that much "use" out of it.

First off this is somewhat of a myth. While the power will drop off if you link to your money site more than 3 times, PageRank is divided equally between the number of outbound links on a page. So while you might only get 3 links out of a domain, you have more PR flowing to your money site than if you had 15 OBLs on it.

Second, there are ways to get around this. One thing you can do is use 301 redirects. So let's say your moneysite is hosted on GoDaddy (bad idea). If you're anything like me you have extra domains laying around. So you host a domain you're not using on HostGator (or free hosting, doesn't matter as long as it's different from your moneysite hosting and allows sub-domains). Then you turn the sub-domain into a 301 redirect (via hosting panel or install WP and use a plugin to turn the homepage into a 301, doesn't matter). Then you set the 301 to your money site.

Then you link from your PBN to the 301'd sub-domain (PBN link --> Sub-domain --> money site). In doing this, you get a link to your site that is only one degree of separation removed from the primary PBN domain. According to Matt Cutts PR flows equally through 301's and OBL's (supposedly power drops ~15% each degree of separation). So the "link" is maybe 15% less powerful, but it's better than nothing. Further, if you have the time and domains to set up a lot of free hosting and sub-domains, you can do this over and over.

And of course, you can link out to parasite pages. So if you're trying to dominate the homepage with authority sites in addition to your money site, you can link out to a YT video or FB page or whatever. People normally spam to rank authority pages cause it's more cost-effective, but if you already have the PBN and you want more use out of it, sending high quality links to an authority site is only going to help. Just remember you're diverting PageRank away from your money site.

This makes sense but why go through the trouble of setting up subdomains and redirecting when the amount of link juice flowing out of your PBN would remain the same? If you create 3 subdomain redirects and link to them or you create 3 direct links to your money site, your PBN site would still have 3 outbound links.

This is to circumvent that, they would be in addition to the 3 links to your money site because they're flowing through a different IP address now.

But one thing I still don't get. Because you are talking about "yout money site", not "your money siteS". So.. let's compare:

a) I have 5 Money sites. And I post 15 articles on a single PBN site, linking to these sites 3 times each.
or
b) I take just one moneysite and post 3 articles on this PBN site, linking to this site 3 times.

The 1 moneysite in b) will receive much more juice than each of the 5 moneysites in a) - right? Or is there no limit how many moneysites I can boost with my PBN?
