My website got hit recently by negative seo .

What they did ?

Scraped the article from the homepage of my website and posted it on multiple hacked website .

Examples : http://prntscr.com/m629fb

Found about 120 websites , most of them are using cloudflare , and i think 99% of the domains are bought from Godaddy

From 10k organic traffic my website went to 500 .

I tried to report those website using the Google "Copyright Removal" but no luck .

Also when i try to visit those pages they redirect me to other websites , but i can see the cached version of those pages with the content ripped

How can i recover that website ?

Tried to content Godaddy a few times , but no luck .

*they didn't made any backlinks , i have problem with duplicate content .

And for example when i search on google a sentence from my article , my website it's ranked on position #4 and those who ripped my content above my website ...

Does anybody had similar issue ?

Sorry to hear about that! Well, besides reporting those hacked sites you could think about adding new high-quality content to your homepage. Perhaps these guys would continue to rip it off your site, but overall might worth a shot.

All your screenshots not working, did you even notice that?
 
Contact google again, it should be easy to see that your content is original since posted earlier.
It may take some time to get a reply, but this should not be a long-term issue
 
In the short-term, create new homepage content. Does your site have good authority (DA, DR etc)? Do the duplicate sites have better authority than your domain?

Also, it's possible that you are suffering from a penalty from something else and not the duplicate content.

First thing I would do: Google a snippet from your homepage (incognito from a different IP than usual if possible) - does your website have position 1? If so, it indicates that Google knows it is the source material.

I would also add a canonical tag to the homepage on the homepage, to give Google a signal it's the source.

Keep reporting the infringing content (https://support.google.com/legal/answer/1120734) and accept it may take some time for action to be taken.

Any messages in Google Search Console ? Maybe it's not related to duplicate content.
 
You have higher chance of getting hit by the recent Google updates rather than the duplicate content.

From what you showed, you won't see such drop from duplicate content as per my experience.
 
Happened to me too. Several people just stole my content and posted it on several other websites and platforms. Some even stole the whole website and reuploaded it. My website still ranked tho.

I think one huge disadvantage Google has is they are fighting spam, spammy backlinks and so on, but when it comes to reporting competitors, neg SEO etc. they are doing shit. Just generic fucking replies.

Few days ago I bought an expired domains which was penalized. Didn't know it before. Added it to Webmaster Tools and sent a request to check the domain. Told them I just registered the domain and had no clue it has a problem with spam. I said now the website is empty and I want to start over again. Their reply? They don't remove the penalty and won't reconsider it until I change its content. Fucking hilarious.
 
That doesn't look like they bought domains for this purpose, but instead used hacked domains. Can you confirm the domains are newly registered?

Create Disavow file and upload it to search console.
also, check about anchor penalty.

I changed the entire content on HomePage , it was indexed but no ranking movment .

I tried via DMCA report tool but those pages can't be accessed only via a tool like : http://www.botsimulator.com/ , they are using some kind of cloaker .

So if a try to search a sentence from my content on Google , my website it's at position #3 and those pages are ranking better than my website :

I think these websites were hacked , some domains registration date :
-2015-08-10
-2018-06-14
-2008-01-04

They didn't made any baclinks to my website , i'm not sure if that will help .

But i also disavow those links a few days ago , no results . ..
 
The duplicate content penalty works by PERCENTAGE SATURATION compared to your total # of content

This means if you have a small site with few pages, you can get penalized harder than if you have a HUGE site with lots of content

Keep publishing content and DILUTE your competitors duplicate content pages

Need proof of this? Check out how news sites get their content copied and pasted all over the place but they still rank well

No mate , i managed to remove some of those hacked pages , but my ranking it's still down .

Not sure why those pages rank better when i paste sentence from my content to Google .

I have about 100 pages on that domain , not sure if it's worth to invest more money in content .

I don't know why nobody heard about this negative seo technique .

I am facing this exact issue with one of my sites.

Seen massive ranking drops.

When I google a snippet of my article content, the scraped content comes up and my website is nowhere to be found.

Anyone has faced this before? (No penalty via GSC).
