Adult Site owners - advice please

Hi,

I am currently using pu55ycash and have made use of the profit optimizer to track clicks on their banners. I have had close to 1000 clicks and not a single conversion to date. Is this normal? I was under the impression the average ratio is around 1:400?

I am promoting both adult matchmaking as well as niched cams.

As soon as a user clicks through I can do nothing more to make the user convert, does anyone have any help or suggestions as I am new to adult.

it depends on your traffic quality... where did you placed their banners?

You might just be unlucky. If there is a 1 in 400 chance that any given click through converts, then there is about a 1 in 12 chance that you will have 1,000 clicks in a row without any conversions. However, it's more likely that there is something in your site traffic that makes it less likely to convert. You might want to consider how you are getting people to visit your site in the first place, and if that will make them less disposed to convert than visitors to other adult sites.

You should always test different landing pages .. try landing people on a very amateurish page of a girl that tells a story she needs to do this to go through college and she is very shy .. and all the guy needs to do is register, pay the minimum $20 .. or whatever is the minimum IMlive payment option and search for .. model name .. on site ..

there are many landing pages option that adult aff program offers but it would be very nice if you modify it a bit depending on your target audience so that conversion will be good.

over 1:1000 is completely normal. not great, but completely normal. especially on banner clicks...

target your traffi cbetter, and drive them with a sale pitch, don't rely on a banner to do the hard work for you...
