Adult site advice needed

Hi guys, is there an adult site expert willing to show a newbie tricks of the trade. I have a cam girl friend and have created her a pay site with pics and videos download. There is also a page for live cam chat though this is by Skype/Paypal not streaming chat.
Following advice given by kind members of this site I kicked things off with some Plugrush campaigns. I got a lot of traffic 1000's in fact, but not one sign up even though I offer a cheap trial membership.
Where do I go from here? My site is attractive and the model sexy, niche being Asian teen. Is the whole concept of an adult paysite outdated with all the free porn on the net?
I am not looking to make mega bucks steady income would suit me fine.
Any advice would be very welcome.

Create an affilaite program where users can sign up and get a cut of the money for your sales. That's what most of paysites have.

Just keep promoting it man, you won't get a sign up in 1,000 hits. You need a lot more then that, porn is a hard market. It's very hard to convert.

You could set up church and burn blogs with pornblog.me, blogger, and tumblr. Also twitter can be a viable source of traffic.

Just promote it man. Don't give up and work hard.

I really cannot say what conversions will be like because 1. I've never ran an adult pay site and 2. It probably depends on your site. If your site looks old and crappy you won't get sales, if it looks clean and sleek you will. It really depends.

I can tell you there is money to be made though.
CPALead just started accepting adult sites, so you could try that.

I've worked with many adult websites, mostly free sites. I built a lot of tube sites and free blogs.

In order to convert a lead in the adult market you need massive amounts of traffic. You may need a few thousand visitors to get a lead or you might only need a couple hundred. It depends how targeted your traffic is. For example, don't be sending dating traffic to cam offers. You would have to send the traffic to dating offers. The same applies to cam and other forms of traffic.

try trafficjunky or exoclick and run banners in the Asian pages. You can get 150 clicks for 25 bucks by trying a few different banners with a decent CTR. Their traffic converts well for adult offers for me

Check out my stats for the last few weeks. I am promoting revshare, so it will only pay off in a long run, but as you can see with 2-3000 visitors / day, only making $3 / day or so. Consider creating her an facebook account, go to "add me" pages on facebook and try to gather friends or create an fb page. Most of the cam girls are also using twitter for promotions and they get thousands of followers.

Paysites for solo girls are kind of outdated. There's a reason why all the free tube sites monetize with webcam girls. No matter how much free porn is out there you can still hook a guy into an interactive experience and some of them become loyal users. I've had rebills last years.

I've been thinking about it but haven't tried anything yet, but some of the bigger cam sites have agent programs where you basically refer a girl and get a percentage of what she makes. Here's just one I looked at:

The advantage here is you don't have to provide the traffic. Even if you do promote the site as an affiliate as well, you're gonna see better conversions because it's way more worth the effort of making an account to pick from lots of girls than do some weird skype/paypal arrangement.

The advantage here is you can do your research and find some specific fetish things people will be into as opposed to just showing off another asian teen.

I would honestly just ditch the paysite. Most of the paysites that actually earn are run by a few big conglomerates who have a ton of content and offer access to all their sites for one price. They depend on affiliates and you're not going to get affiliates because you can't possibly match what the big guys can pitch to the end users.

At the same time, you're in a good position to be a content producer and content producers are way higher up the food chain than affiliates. If you want to squeeze all the money you can out of this girl, you can also shoot lower quality stuff and upload it to tube sites to promote whatever you want, whether it's her clips4sale store, some dating site, her (and other) cams, etc. People actually buy content just to be able to do that.

This one is pretty cool because it acts like a regular tube site, but as an uploader you can have some of your videos be preview only and require payment for the rest of it. There's a big social aspect too, so you've got a big user base to hustle to. A little personal touch can go a long way here, like if a guy likes her vid and sees she actually replies to comments that will flip him into absolutely having to see her full videos.
