Adult content website revenue

Hi,


I'm currently working on an adult porn tube, and was wondering does it really pay off? I'm thinking of making use of ads and affiliates to monetise it after reaching certain page views threshold.

But does publishers pay good money to advertise on adult websites? I've seen some pharmacy and other sexual and erotic companies advertise on famous adult tubes like xvideos, pornhub, xhamster.

In the meantime I'm building the content on the website, planning to reach 500k videos by the end of this year. Along the way, I'll be running ads and promotional campaigns to get noticed and attract audience.

Any advice would be very helpful.
NOTE: My budget for this project is around $50k

I use HostedTube. It does exactly what you are doing - it is platform where you add your own domain and you get thousands of videos already published on your site. Of course, you have to set your own setting and you can change each and every video's meta data and titles. I don't have 500K videos but some tube sites make me around $0.1 a day without doing anything. Of course, with your budget, I imagine you could do a lot better than me.

I'm sure that you could put some affiliate links disguised as videos just like RedTube is doing (at least on mobile).

why? when google hit them it all fell apart. on top of that they switched to nats and took all the promo down.

I'm still seeing ads on my mobile.
