Adult and SEO

I already know that adult websites and seo are sometimes pipe dreams due to the amount of competition and onpage word content. I have a gallery website with about 250 galleries now.. slowly growing. Slowly climbing in ranking for some terms.

Decided to add a blog to the site and have posted about 5 1,000 word high quality articles that are niche related. Has anybody else tried this for seo benefits? I know people going to the website dont give a shit about the article, but the articles are very good for people who are not actually going to the site for porn... good for people researching. The subweb (blog) i have set up so that there is absolutely no adult content on it, so its socially shareable. In your opinion is this a waste of time "hoping" that it will help with seo for sitewide metrics.

There is always some value to unique content for keyword expansion and interlinking etc.

IMO this is a great way to get organic traffic for a porn site, then remember to do internal links from this articles to the gallery.
