Hello to everyone

My adsense account was limited almost a week ago and I was looking for any alternative to it. I read on google and bhw about this and applied to adthrive, adsterra, buysellads, media.net and ezoic & tabola. I was denied by all of them except adsterra. So yesterday I went to the adsterra and created few ad units and placed on my site. My traffic comes from facebook 70% and the rest from search engine and reddit. 75% of traffic is from the US and 10% from Canada the rest from the UK and other countries.

I checked the adsterra after 6-7 hours and i had $ 31 18k impressions and 15 clicks with a $ 1.7 cpm. Not even close to what I was earning with adsense with cpm 5.6 euros but anyway.
When I checked my facebook page and saw about 6-10 people commenting that they had been redirected to a porn site and they were not able to close it. After reading those comments, I removed adsterra from my site imediatly. I checked the adsterra ad units again and all erotic ads were disabled. Also my bounce rate went from under 20% to 42%.

Anyone who suggests another ad network for a gaming site (not hack / crack /cheats) with 800-1.3k visitors every day

It seems like you used their Popup code right?

Did you choose Adult (18+) and removed campaigns with Erotic ads? It won't work if you did like this. You have to choose mainstream. But you can't change it now. You have to create a ticket.

I choose Mainstream and removed erotic ads

From my experience, their banner ads will also have pop-unders. They are pretty shady when it comes to advertisers, so be careful. But, I've made a decent income with them in the past. When it comes to EZOIC, try to talk to a representative and show promise of growth (unless you really don't have the traffic requirement).

Thanks man. I will stay away from them :P what about buying another adsense account , can i use the same bank account i used on this and add the same site ?

Same happened to me but with their VAST ads. I removed Erotic ads but i kept seeing them. Then i contacted my manager and he told me that it is not possible to remove Erotic ads. Looks like its the same for banners... Erotic ads probably makes them lots of money

You need to contact your manager and tell him that you don`t want porn ads
My advice is to avoid Adsterra, I used it for 10 days..First day awesome earnings, second day too...But from the third day it was 10% from the first day even with more visits, and day after that and day after that...

Yes i created a support ticket but no answer yet, Anyway i will stay away from them.

Good call...
They are still mailing me, that they are the best and I should go with them..But if is not a porn is redirect

No. Banners redirect too.
Im using adsterra for some time. I would not recommend it for legit websites bc their banners can redierect traffic to other websites (they pay per cpa, cpi and cpm). They also pay high only for usa, au and uk traffic as far as i have seen.

Any other suggestion beside those networks i mentioned ?

well i tried adsterra on my site, even 2 times, each time had same issues with them cant be trusted, got me penalized from google

in some ad networks you can also target your ads based on interests. This helps in increasing your CPM and improve you user experience, I didn't like to use Adsterra since I can control of the ads are showing to the users.

Does using controversial ads also results in Google penalty ?

To OP, If you generate some decent traffic to your site the header bidding is the way to go. High CPM and lower risk because people don't need to click on ads for you to make money. It's pretty technical and it takes time, but you can partner with an Ad Op to implement everything (there is Reddit where you can find partners r/adops) or you can partner with a company like Sortable or Ezoic but they will take up to 30% of your revenue, but it's worth it if you don't have knowledge in this field. You can partner with them for 3 or 4 months to learn from them and integrate your own HB solution.

I hope that helps.
