I have a handful of non-adult websites. So, I tried advertising via Facebook!
What a FUCKING NIGHTMERE !

The traffic was garbage! Absolute Garbage!
It was bots, 3rd world African nations and I suspect a Chinese traffic farm.
Of course, Facebook told me that I was wrong. THEIR DATA said it was all top notch fantastic traffic.

As far as I'm concerned everyone's traffic is shit until I verify it.
So, I make a small purchase to see how it goes.

Damn, even Facebook delivers crap-traffic? I mean Adult was, is and always will be risky but Mainstream? That's another dimension of scam and monopolism as it divides the web in the haves and haves not groups even regardless of the marketing budget.

You should also be aware that AI is probably coming to the fake traffic scam. (In fact, it might even be happening right now.)

Fake traffic generated by AI is going to be hell to spot.

BUT!!
If you're a good businessman and you know market... Then you can estimate just how much traffic you need to make a sale.
When the amount of traffic to your site increases and you're not seeing an increase in sales is when you know someone is dicking you around !!
