AdsPower VS Dolphin

Dolphin tends to struggle with session persistence. Don’t force shutdowns, or just run it in a VM—there’s no real way to get it to behave exactly like AdsPower.

AdsPower is far superior in terms of features and stability, something Dolphin's technical team can hardly match. You should proactively migrate your data to AdsPower to optimize your work. This is entirely feasible and easy if you keep your old proxy configuration, allowing your account to adapt quickly to the new environment.

Dolphin is usable, but if you’re managing many profiles and want to save time on re-logins and verifications, switching new setups to AdsPower makes more sense.

I’ve been using Dolphin Anty for several years and I’m generally satisfied with it. However, every time Dolphin shuts down (manually or due to system updates or whatever), more than half of my profiles fail to save the last session’s logins and websites.

This makes it very time-consuming to relaunch 30+ profiles and log back into multiple websites while dealing with CAPTCHAs and long verifications.

Recently, I started using AdsPower and noticed that even after a forced shutdown, all sessions and logins are saved perfectly after relaunching the profiles.

I have over 200 profiles in Dolphin, so migrating them isn’t practical. Is there a way to make Dolphin reliably save sessions and logins the same way AdsPower does?

Ahem, before ...without any further ado, I will just drop this one here:

They both spil virt env like crazy, for ML I can say it only affeting Chromium 143, 142 is fine.

What you have described about Dolpin should be an automatical permanent, irrevocable reason to cancel any business with them, I do not know how much you understand about session management, but that will come to cost you dearly eventually.

ADSpower, well see above, they are not doing their homework either.

Gologin cloud they have an okay profile sync, some session values are not ported properly and some are not portable, but they hide it well, team members can log into gmails from various machines and the gmails live, good enough, I suppose, but their profile generation is terrible. The will generate , if you select a GPU only ever been in laptops, they will generate a profile for a PC with no cam, any hover false, any touch false and up until recently they returned gpu metrics as N/A, which is now fixed.

They all suck equally and I believe I will make some sort of both that visits all the check websites and returns the data, they really all do very dumb things at times. But Dolpins re auth scenario is unforgiveable.

I think it is difficult to do as you ask. You can choose to switch to use Adspowers entirely for the most convinience

I'm using Adspower and it works quite well, you can use it.

I’ve seen this issue with Dolphin too. From my experience, Dolphin is very sensitive to forced shutdowns. What helped a bit was always closing profiles properly, disabling auto OS updates, and increasing local cache/storage limits. Still, it’s honestly less reliable than AdsPower for session saving — there’s no real “AdsPower-level” fix inside Dolphin right now

Check your local storage settings and cloud sync delay in the Dolphin menu. Sometimes the session fails to save because the browser closes before the upload to their server is complete

Write to the developers, they actively answer questions

To ensure your work runs smoothly in the future, you should switch to AdsPower. It's a good and long-term solution. Initially, it might take some time to switch from one platform to another, but later you won't have to worry about the same thing as you do now.

From what I've seen so far, the vast majority of people use AdsPower because it has many superior features, as you can compare it to Dolphin yourself. So, what reason would you have not to switch to this browser, right?

Dolphin just isn’t as good as AdsPower when it comes to saving sessions. Even if you do everything “right,” it can still lose logins after shutdowns or updates. There’s no real setting that makes Dolphin behave like AdsPower in this area. If session reliability is critical for you, AdsPower is simply more stable, and the only real fix long term is gradually moving important profiles over.

Dolphin’s session saving is known to be unstable after forced shutdowns, which is why many people switch to tools like AdsPower that handle cookies and logins more reliably. Unfortunately there isn’t a reliable setting in Dolphin that makes it save sessions as well as AdsPower does.

It's better you move completely to AdsPower. I have a good experience with AdsPower too.

It’s hard to make Dolphin work exactly the same way as AdsPower, since that depends heavily on how each platform is built and supported by their technical teams. For long-term stability and security, it’s usually better to plan a gradual data migration rather than relying on one tool to fully replace another.

what do you think about morelogin?

It depends on the use you're going to give it; in my case, I've always used Dophin and it's worked very well for me.

Based on what you’re experiencing, the most practical and time-efficient advice is to switch to AdsPower, even though it may be quite challenging at first
