Why would google not approve adsense for in over 4 months now...
I keep getting it is in review...

If your Google AdSense account disapproved

There are several reasons why your AdSense application may have been disapproved, and the most common disapproval reason is because your application is a duplicate of an existing account. AdSense policies only allow one account per publisher, and it's against the AdSense Terms and Conditions to create a second account.

If your Google AdSense application been rejected

When AdSense team rejects an application, they usually mention the reasons like “insufficient content ” “URL you specified is not owned by you“, “Due to copyright material” and so on. You need to understand what went wrong and how you can fix it.

10 Reason Why Your Google AdSense Application Will Get Rejected

• Your website is too new
• No content, poor-quality or inappropriate content
• Poor quality or non-organic traffic
• No privacy policy
• You encourage users to click on the ads
• Links are from or lead to harmful or inappropriate sites
• Server downtime
• You sell counterfeit goods
• You are under 18
• You've already been banned before

To fix google adsense application rejection :

Reapply for GOOGLE ADSENSE account
You will find a link in rejected email from AdSense team to reapply for your AdSense account. Another tip is to use a custom domain and have a Google apps account. Now, use your Google apps Email Id to apply for Adsense account. This works for many.

To fix AdSense errors :

Review the AdSense Program policies to make sure your site is in compliance. Keep in mind that we may review all pages of your site, not just the sign-up URL where you placed the code. After you've adjusted your content, sign in to AdSense and confirm that you've resolved the issues on your site.

I used to get AdSense approving my websites with a couple of posts with 100 words back in 2019,
funny thing how they made things even harder over time
