Adsense yesterday was $490 page RPM - Explain?????

never seen this before.

just looked at my reports and can see that yesterday from one country (a scandinavian one), my page RPM is $490.
there were 570 page views from this country, leading to 530 clicks.

all my other countries are normal. Page RPMs ranging from $4.50 to $10

surely this is the work of bots.
im sure google will categorise these as invalid clicks and they'll be removed from my end of month sum.

anyone else experienced something like this?

Just looked at today's report so far and Page RPM from this one country is currently at $2,300
Page views is 70. Clicks is 270

Agree. Most likely, click bombing. Most of the time, you don't need to worry.

Are you ranking in the top ten SERPs for any keywords? Look at the competing sites there. Dig deeper - any new sites with similar content?

Did you share the URL with someone recently? Did you fight with someone who knows your site's URL?
