I recently received and Adsense site level violation for adult content and I'm wondering, I don't plan on getting another and have removed everything to comply amongst other content, but how many of these violations are you allowed? Has anyone had content violations on there site? What happened in your experience?

I get them for ad placement and usually after 5 of them they zonk the account.

Not sure about adult content though.

Not that I can think of, they're like a heartbeat - either there or dead.
Now I've heard of people getting several site-level violations and I've heard that at that level the most that happens is ads are disabled on your site, and at account level violations it affects more of your entire account, is this true? Also are you saying 5 violations for a site and the entire account?

You may get banned for 1 violation or for no violation at all.
Check the TOS before and probably AdSense is not the best network to play games with as even for fair playing they ban a lot.
How about trying more networks?

Yes I have, but I've been working with Adsense for close to 4 years and haven't really had any real problems, I'm just wondering what others have experienced when they've received site level violations with content

Not saying you have to give up, but to add more ad networks so you don't get a bad surprise at the end of the month might be a good idea, since you already have a violation.

Well I've gotten one on a site of mine before and I've been fine I just wanted to see what others experiences were like if they had one, but what other ad networks would you suggest?

Depends on the type of site, some sites are better with recommendation, others with video, display can be used almost on any site.

I've used recommendation ads before and they've worked out very well. The CTR with them was very good. I've also done some research on different warnings and came across this: goo[dot]gl/images/rLE23i his warnings were fairly recent as well

I suggest to use mix of possible ads, so it doesn't overload site, but give variety of different networks to earn

can we know what theme are you using and type of adult content specifically that you think (or they said) violated their terms?

This would be very useful, I've seen those warnings before, 2 total in different years and I ended up killing the 2 themes used to
increase my chances of keeping safe. Moments that were quite recorded on my end, good post here. Makes me dejavu.

Does that mean you get multiple accounts?:) i never got a new adsense account to stick, it always gets banned before i cash out.. last time was crazy, i moved, got new ip.. they still found me, i think because at some point i checked an old email on my adsense pc.. any tip to have it stick?:)

What kind of ad placement triggered the warning?

Here is their standard email to me:

Publishers may not implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way. In order to maintain a good user experience, it is important for publishers to clearly distinguish Google ads from site content. This includes, but is not limited to: site layouts in which the ads push content below the fold on mobile devices; placing 300x250 or larger ad units above the fold on a mobile optimized site.

I do the bolded part on sites that I use for spamvertising as they are churn and burn and I know I'll eventually get banned.

In the USA you can set up an LLC pretty inexpensively and use that as the owner of the acct.

I have a bunch of adsense accounts because they are a fickle child.

Use TOR browser, VPS server to log in for an extra layer and never use or log into any Google product or service. That is too much for me dow, but should work.

To be honest, I do have a company set up in my own country, guess I could make a business account and try again.. but can I use the PC I got my personal account banned from ?:) Google says I can, but I really don`t trust Googs.. :)

I use the same computer and different LLCs here in the States for that.

Never had an issue there but if you are concerned go ahead and use your phone.

Download Opera or some other browser that you have never used and reboot your phone to get a new IP and you would be safer I would expect... I'm not a techie so I could be off base there but my money is you would be OK.

Perhaps someone who is better versed in that aspect could offer their thoughts.
