If you're in a low paying niche like me (0.1-0.5 CPC on adsense), then I see no point in using adsense at all.

CTR is usually about 1-5%

Let's say average CPC is $0.5 so to get $20, you'll need 40 clicks.
And lets say CTR is 2.5%, that means every 1000 visitors you'll get 25 clicks. To make $20, you'll need 15 more clicks which is equivalent of 600 visitors. Therefore, total visitors for $20 is 1,600 visitors.

Now surely, if you had a clickbank ad / banner instead, you should be easily able to make AT LEAST 1 sale from that 1,600 visitors right? That's a conversion rate of 0.0625% which is awfully low. Realistically, the conversion rate should be like 0.3-5% (depending on the niche) so that means clickbank would be a much better way to monetize your site than with adsense.

Also adsense likes to ban people a lot for not even breaking the rules so I'd say Click bank would be a much better alternative.

ahahah! awesome thread :)
I also like talking to myself times to times :)
If I was you i'd stick with adsense and work getting more traffic and better ctr instead.

Do you speak about clickbank conversion rate from experience?

yeah.. if you consider clickbank as your main earning source then its the right choice.. but if you want to use adsense then you need more traffic.. actually its all about your way of earning.. if you want to earn from affiliates then clickbank is the best.. but if you just want to use adsense then it is the best. i tried for adsense in my beginning but nowdays i use clickbank as they pay a lot and also i don't want to get blocked by Google adsense team as sometimes they block without reason! which i hate a lot

Clickbank or Amazon all day. & Adsense if you have numerous accounts

It depends on which niche you are in. If you are using Adsense on your Weight loss blog instead of using CB to monetize then you would be considered nothing less some stupid newbie.
