The only reason Ezoic is being promoted so much is their affiliate program. Literally, every influencer in the market is getting paid to make you use Ezoic. Don't fall for the trap.

Stick to adsense for now and then move on to a better network like adthrive or mediavine when you have the traffic.
What makes AdThrive and Mediacine better options?
I currently have 200K monthly page views.
Ezoic talks the talk on its marketing, but totally fails technically and in person. The people who work for Ezoic are rude, unhelpful and they often have your site down and then blame your hosting for not being compatable. I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole

If a minimum of 50% of your traffic is from the US then go for either of those two.
What makes them better options? They pay better.
Every person I've talked to about it had the same thing to say.
Just saying from experience. I find support responsive and helpful. I had issues with site speed before but my success manager helped me resolve them. They have hosting plans which have been vetted and verified to work well with Ezoic Cloud and Leap. With the right hosting and less plugins in place, you'd be fine.
I thinks its the luck of the draw with the support, could not have been less helpful and lost three days income with my site down with them, its not a speed issue its the DNS issues
Their support channels now depends on 'levels'. I think the only time you get to talk to someone is when you are on higher level where you'll have dedicated specialist/success manager. Sorry to hear you experience, tho.

ezoic should absolutely be recommended INSTEAD of adsense. it's not really a competition, more like ez is a clear step above as someone stated with the fact about mediation. your ad inventory will be higher with less ads, making them more valuable over time

Stay away from Ezoic. They'll break your site speed resulting in poor Google rankings.

Ezoic is preferred over adsense because they don't blindly ban you like Google if you broke any of their guidelines knowingly or unknowingly. The only downside of ezoic is that they slow down your website.
Mediavine or adthrive is better than ezoic since they pay better and also don't slow your website but they are very strict in accepting websites. You can try your luck since you have good amount of traffic.

I can only talk from experience, regarding speed issues on my site. used to have this problem in the past but their leap tech helped me identify what plugins to remove or conflict with ezoic...I do agree they notify you if you have such invalid traffic,since they are a Google Certified Publishing Partner, so they have to follow Google's rules on traffic, so Ezoic doesn't allow or removes sites from the platform with invalid traffic but reinstate your site once you have taken steps to ensure that invalid traffic is no longer an issue on your website.

Ezoic has now become a whole ecosystem. Now, you have the Humix and even the keyword suggestion tool. Also, you can easily add mediation in ezoic. Mediation is basically using adsense for further revenue. So, ezoic it is.

Ezoic is garbage. It slows down your website because of its DNS integration and shitty ad placements. Ezoic pays you a lot less compared to Mediavine and Adthrive.
Don't fall for "oh it's because of your plugins", it's never your plugins if your website was fast before Ezoic. Their RPMs are so low compared to their competitors, it's not even worth trying, needless to say their customer service makes you want to shoot yourself in the face.

True. Ezoic leap is leaps and bounds better than their previous caching system but it is not newbie friendly or one click setup like wp rocket. A person need to have knowledge of caching and need to be aware of what he is doing but still leap is not enough to achieve good page speed.
Yes ezoic pays less than adthrive or mediavine but they are better than adsense and good for newbies who are monetizing only through ads and don't have 50k page views yet.
