Adsense tips?

Which are the best positions to place ads and what are best ad formats? I am getting traffic but no clicks on two skyscrappers i placed on right and left sidebars....

I'm also just starting to start my journey on adsense. What theme are you using ? Some adsense optimized theme have great suggestion on the ad placement.

You can always spy on your competitor that's on page 1 for you keywords and look. If they are on page 1 chances are they have strategic ad placements.
