Adsense suggest to install AMP plugin, promising 17% more revenue and an increase in traffic.
What do you think? is it as easy as they make it sound like? Can this break my site in any way?

1-2 years ago google said that AMP is not needed anymore, so I wouldn't trust their recommendation (unless things have changed again)

understood, it's not as simple as installing the plugin and leaving it be..
