Hi Guys,
My website is quite harmless, just some content I wrote myself (tips and tricks and lifehacks and shit like that). Nothing against policy.
I am doing somewhat of an Arbitrage play (not the only thing). So I buy traffic through various sources (good quality traffic, good ecpms, not bot, expensive cpc, one of the top 10 major ad networks).
I have heard from another affiliate friend that google allows arbitrage, but doesnt like it. If you are big, you are fine. If you are small and starting out, like in my case, they will fuck with you.
So they denied my site originally (with 20+ unique articles), i wrote more, and changed the layout and they approved it (thanks to @Mr Professor 's helpful advice).
Then when I ran my first campaigns and started bringing in traffic all was well.
I stopped the campaigns and was working on the site (as i do every day). I NEVER click any ads, and I use an ad blocker to not risk accidental clicks while I work on the site. But since traffic was stopped it was mostly me and the very few organics I have.
That is when I received (number of ads limited on your site, policy violation, invalid traffic). After watching the official video on invalid traffic I learned you can get flagged not only for clicking your own ads but even for IMPRESSIONS that look suspicious. I got reapproved end of December and all was well, started campaigns, and things were looking good. I had to pause again to rework some landing page sand strategies. Now while paused, again, yesterday i got invalid traffic and now my site is blocked again. I'm super fucking pissed because this is very important to my overall strategy, i need adsense for this to work.
What do I do now? I am in the process of submitting an appeal, but like this will keep happening I guess since it seems they are likely flagging me due to how traffic comes into my site (ups and downs when I have campaigns live and when I pause, not just a steady stream of organic traffic).
Any advice here? How can I get unblocked, is there a phone number I can call in an emergency? This is not a blackhat thing, I am trying to do this whitehat and still getting blocked these fucking "gods of the internet" do not like me. I am not aware of anything in their policies that state it is forbidden to buy traffic and use adsense....so why are they giving me such a hard time?
The only other thing I can think of in the future is to remove ALL adsense code from my site when traffic is not running through campaigns, which would be a big pain in the ass, and then add it back in when I start traffic again. But this seems fucking stupid for customers of their service. Especially when i'm trying to be a good boy and cross all my I's and dot all my T's and still I cant seem to get by their overly zealous "invalid traffic" algorithm. Now its like im forced to do blackhat shit in order to do whitehat shit...fuck them and fuck this pandemic (thought i'd just mention that too for good measure)
