Im looking to start article writing to generate some extra income. Do you think its best to submit my articles to a site like InfoBarrel and get a percentage of the adsense clicks, or to submit to AC and get upfront payments?

I can see the plus and minus points for both options, just interested to see what you guys prefer.

In the long run rev-share seems to be more ideal...But it will take alot more effort.. good luck

i would do some of both. so that way you get cash now and have long term income.

at the moment i'm doing it like this: i submit articles to ac at first for upfront payment. usually not all of the articles are going to be accepted for upfront payments. so i take the rejected ones and use them for infobarrel because i am too lazy to modify them and resubmit them to ac again and again. i also think that a mix of both could work well.

Thanks for the responses guys. The combination of a residual income and up front payment looks like the best option.

@Johnconnor
I like that idea, gives you the best of both worlds. Thanks for sharing.

AC = short term
Adsense sharing sites = long term
AC + Adsense sites => linkback to personal blogs (more traffic more money.).

I'm with johnconnor. I also post my AC rejected articles onto other sites. I'm too busy to rewrite rejects all the time to suit AC needs.:rolleyes:

My two favorite sites are Infobarrel and Triond.

Infobarrel because of the 75% adsense and the use of google analytics.
Triond because of the page view payments. Which comes in handy when there are days I get a page view but no ad click.:D
