I just wanted to let anyone know that doesn't know already. I have been experimenting with adsense page layout, and the last video of the Google payload system is pretty accurate. On the pages where I use a 336 x 280 block, under the page title on the left with the corresponding text under it, so it looks like a table of contents, my ctr is 50%-70%. Also, putting a 336 x 280 block under the paragraph with a ... (to be continued style ...) my ctr is in the 50's. Also, putting a link on every page to privacy, terms, and contact, have caused all new ads to show with better payouts. Now I just need to get more traffic to these pages.
I also have some pages with a logo with three 336 x 280 blocks side by side underneath, so it looks to have 12 links with nothing else above the fold does really well, but the payouts are really shitty.
This might be old news to most people, but to some people struggling with .20 click-thrus, you might find it helpful.
