Adsense on Amazon site

Let me start out by saying I know the majority of you will say you can earn more if people arn't clicking adsense and leaving your site, when they could have been buying something on amazon.

However, the niche I'm currently trying out has some sub-topic products that are on amazon and some that are not. For the pages that don't have products on amazon should I use adsense to make money?

Is having adsense on an amazon site a bad idea because Google hates affiliates?

I dont think its a problem having both, just make sure you give priority to amazon.

No, it's not a problem... Im using both on my sites... Usually I put Amazon link under the article and adsense in sidebars and header... And people say that you can earn much more when people click on Amazon, yes that is true but they don't consider how many clicks you need to have just to sell one product... If your adsense CPC is for example $0.75 and you get $0.50 per every click, you have 50 clicks and that is $25... $25???? For that you need to sell Amazon products worth $600... So, count for yourself, what is your amazon coversion??? Is it better to have 50 adsense clicks or 50 amazon with 1 sale??? It depends on the niche, product etc... It is a simple math...

I don think that it should be a big problem at all..especially if the niche has some good cpc..imo

No problem, put your amazon link under content and adsense in sidebar and header...

a lot of user on here say they hate affiliates..

There's no problem with having both, it's better for them to at least click an ad if they aren't planning on making a purchase.

Be careful, because google could make retargeting of amazon on the adsense ads and overwrite your affiliate cookie.

Google cannot overwrite a browser based cookie - if so you would have to agree to it.

You're ok with google, they don't hate affiliates, but don't over-flood your site with Amazon links... That is what google hates and visitors also... Be smart... as I said before, put Amazon link in the images and under your review article and in sidebar put adsense

no it's not a bad idea. But you can try and rent out that ad space to someone for a monthly fee - you'll earn more than with adsense.
