Adsense/MNS... is it still worth it?

I've been thinking of ways to get some passive income going. (My goal is $100 a day and I'll be extremely happy)

My original plan was to have 10 MNS websites making $10 a day! Is this still doable? I heard MNS sites aren't working well anymore as google updates constantly. Are any of you still having success with it? Should I pursue this plan?

Based on experience - 100/day is achievable with around 50 mfa sites. But it will be very unstable. Seems like Google is not aimed at providing quality search any more, but rather fighting a war against optimizers.
 
Yes, it's doable, even with 10 sites, however don't rely on Adsense income, it is unstable and unpredictable.

I was worried it would take more than 10 :(. What are some good ways to reach $100/day then?
 
I have 3 MNS. All three are about 6 months old. I see people on here every day talking about this or that update ruining their rankings, but none of my MNS have been effected by any of these things. All 3 have had KW's on the first page results for a while now. I keep waiting to get nailed but it hasn't happened yet. I would say try it out with 1 site and if it goes OK slowly add some more.

Like exbear said though, you'll need more than 10 sites to make a consistent $100/day. In theory, you could make $100/day from 1 MNS if the main KW pays $20+ per click, but the reality is that KW's that pay a lot are hard to rank and you never actually get the $/click that the adwords tool says. The adwords keyword tool says one of my KW's is around $2.50 CPC, I usually get .60-1.00 in real life though because Google takes a percentage of what it charges for the clicks before it pays you the difference.
 
Yes they are but you can't just put a few sites up with 2 articles and expect to rank and bank. they need to me of more quality now with each update unless its 2008 again :p

Haha actually, this is a common name i always use! The reason I chose it is because of a contradiction. Once I become successful, I'm obviously not one. I think it's interesting, I'm actually fairly successful already. I'm very good at writing articles and I an make a decent $20-$100 dollars a day!

What other options do I have if I want to reach $100 a day? I don't want to have a ton of websites because it'll be difficult for just me to handle them
 
Well, if you are a good writer, why don't you start scaling up those efforts? There are a million ways to make money taking that route. Writing for sites, offering article writing services, etc.
 
Yes, Micro niche sites are still worth it. Invested $300 in new micro niche sites this month and I will see what the montly cashflow will be, very interesting.

Problem is I don't think I'd have time to fulfill all those requests! I already work for an associated content company and that's about it.
