AdSense making me approve sites individually?

I was approved for an adsense account and have years of experience with adsense and for some reason it is making me add the URL of every site to the "Sites" tab, provides me a code to add in the header first, and I have to wait for them to approve the site first.

The sites tab has always been optional to only allow sites added to the list to show ads on your site.

Can anybody tell me whats going on? Is my account type different or is this something new for all new adsense accounts?

Yes, adsense now will check every site.

It looks like old accounts older than a few months ago aren't affected. So only new accounts adsense makes you add and checker each new URL?>

Anyone know how much per approve adsense acount without pin verified?
