AdSense issue

So to start from the beginning, I used an old AdSense account for a new website I was launching, got approved and ads started displaying and all that. All fine and dandy, right?
Well, after that I noticed that the old account's country was set to Sweden, cause I used the Swedish version of the adsense site when I registered, cause my native language is Swedish, even though I live in Finland. So the country of my account had automatically been set to Sweden which I hadn't noticed until now. So either way I figured it'd be fine, well surprise surprise; it wasn't. I then proceeded to try and close the account, but couldn't, since I hadn't verified my address. So then a letter with my name and address on it, was on it's way to my exact address, but to the wrong country. Somehow it managed to arrive here and I verified my address and finally got to close the account. So I removed the website from my account and closed it, only to open a new account with the right country, like every "adsense community expert" had told me to do. However, now when I try and get my website added to my new account, it says that I've got another account but that one should be closed already. Anyone experienced something like this and have any idea what I should do?
