Is this true? read it at another thread.

"recently,In the background of Adsense, I found that the average cpc of a first-level domain is greater than the average cpc of a second-level domain.
For example, one click for .com is about 0.3$, and one click for www.com is about 0.1$.

My guess is that the .com's index page and rights are more important than www.com. Therefore, advertisers are bidding fiercely, so the unit price is high.
Don't know what the reason is?"
Thanks in advance

I have been using first-level-domain as well as second-level-domains for my websites in the same niche targeting same keywords. In my experience, I haven't found a single scenario where CPC increased or decreased depending on domains.

It might be possible that the guy who posted this was using FLD as SLD for the same project but ranking in different countries for the target keywords which might have resulted in the variation of CPC in the same niche for the two domains.
