all my traffic is organic, never buy paid traffic or something like this for my site.

what could it be?

It can be just accidental clicks, clicks that google counts as made without the purpose of actually clicking the ad.
I wonder what amount of the total it takes for them to do a manual review. How many % of your total was the invalid traffic?
I myself had less than 1% for December, just wondering.

checked it now and it was 4% of my total earnings. its strange because my ads its just on the site, not cover anything

What is the percentage of invalid traffic?
If you earned $80 and invalid traffic is $40 then something is wrong. But if you earned $4000 then invalid traffic $40 is normal.

Usually I have about 1 percent.

it was 4% this month

Just accept that. We just can't do anything about this mate.

Strange. There should be no restrictions for French traffic. Maybe you have some malware on your site? Either way, if you're 100% sure you haven't done anything shady, I'd contact Google Adsense support.

Never contact Adsense Support! Contacting them will lead to a manual review and the possibility of getting a picky reviewer with a bad mood that restricts your account.
I'm talking from experience, minimize the possibility of manual reviews as much as possible.

Yes i will leave it like this. this 40$ will come back to me next month :)

They like stealing publishers earnings.

I usually got round 10% of invalid clicks monthly but i don't make a big deal of it... I mean till there are 400/500 monthly income for me is fine... Never be greedy..

It happens to me too but usually less than 1% so I don't bother trying to figure out what happened.

I'd investige, not because of $40, but because 4% (or even a shocking 10% for Axaleth) aren't normal numbers. With lower traffic volumes the percentage certainly can vary a little more, but significantly more than 1% isn't normal and may end with an account ban if it stays like this for a longer time.

the danger is to loose the account ...not because being greedy .

exactly. hope that nothing is going to happen

Guys in the good old times when with bots a javascript and a good facebook campaign you could take out 1200, 1600 1800 euros per month I personally i got the 20%=18% invalid cliks per month and got checked after 4months and round 5000 euros cashout (obviusly I got banned after the manual review), with the new system providing human traffic we got a regular percentage of 8%/11% invalid click per month with 0 bans (the new system is in place from October) so I think you got nothing to worry about, and complain because they take a way a 1 or 2% is either stupidity or greed...
