Adsense CPC question

So I have a niche site monetized with Adsense. Google said the average CPC is $125 but I'm only getting $5 a click. Quite unfortunate as the search volume is low... I have like 1000 keywords with around 50 monthly searches which I set up on the promise of ridiculously high CPC. It's a big site too.

Now the ad sites aren't selling physical products rather just advertising their brick and mortar service, so I'm not sure exactly what action Google could be expecting visitors to make before I get rewarded $$$...

hm, you are getting ONLY $5 per click?? How many clicks did you get by now? BTW forget about $125 CPC, if you could keep $5 CPC it would be awesome..

$5 a click is a very good CPC rate. Most people are lucky to get $1-2 CPC.

This aside Google uses various algorithms to target ads specifically for the user visiting your website using cookies, previous search queries and what not. What I would try is having the meta keyword tag with your niche keywords inside your webpages if you don't already.

Plus, if Adwords says the CPC is $125 that doesn't mean you will earn that through Adsense.

It might or might not help and like I said, $5 CPC is nice
