Hello everyone.

In 2010 my adsense got banned for invalid clicks. I was young and dumb so the ban was correct. I never tried to reapply.

Now, 14 Years later, i want to monetize a YouTube channel. I want my Sister (different name and different City) to create the adsense account for me. So far so easy.

When i created the Youtube channel, i had to verify by phone number.

Since i have that mobile phone number since 2008, its possible that i used that same number in my banned adsense account.

Could that cause any problems?

Thanks

Of course, yes. Unless the google engineers done a purge on the database that holds all banned account information. lol

Just get yourself a a throwaways phone, and buy a sim card, and keep it active and topped up. I prefer to have my extra phone numbers on a contract, so I don't lose the numbers due to inactivity.

If you have any info which may connect you with the old account, don't use it.

A new phone number is no problem. I just forgot about the banned adsense when i created the youtube channel.

The problem i see is, that i already used the old number to verify the youtube account. So is the only possibility now that i create a new youtube channel with a new phone number?

Or is there any save workaround since the channel already has a few subscribers?

It is a brand channel, so would it be safe to just change the owner of the channel?

PS: If its important. I was banned for clicking ads on my website. I never had a monetized youtube channel before.

You can't monetized a Youtube account with a "few" subs. :D

"If you want to start earning ad revenue, your channel will need to have generated 4,000 hours of YouTube watch time over the past 12 months and have at least 1,000 subscribers. "

So it is safer to start all over again? With new ISP, PC etc?

Since 2010 i moved and of course changed isp. But now Google knows by my phone number who i am.

I always thought that only the details you give at the adsense registration are a problem?

How did Markiplier get away with it? He officially states that he merely created a new channel and is using someone else's AdSense account. Now hes a very big player. But as this happened his Channel was on the smaller side.

FWIW my current adsense account is using the same phone number that was used on a banned account several years back, and I get my monthly payment just fine. But as others have said, phone numbers are a dime a dozen nowadays.

Wont be an issue. But why not to buy youncan rent a number but buying a aim is budget friendly

In the mobile app thread a dude wrote, that you can try this path:
1. request google to delete your Google account (just Google how to do this)
2. get new PC, new phone, etc.
3. wait 3-12 months, so Google possibly purges "deleted account" with all your data
4. try to register new AdSense - possibly with new address

What is the problem is getting a new number ? You can get it within seconds.

So google do keep these informations?
Google's entire monetization model is to gather as much data on you and exploit and sell it
so yes, chances are, they ain't even deleting data even when requested to do so.

Ok, Thanks for your help. I´ll restart the channel, but this time with a different and unused number.

But, if google knows from the old phone number (and several Google accounts in recent years, some with my full name and date of birth)
who is sitting at this computer with this IP.

Could this become a problem if i then upload videos, reply to comments etc.?

As i said, i create the adsense account entirely via my sister. On her Computer, ISP, address and all other account details.

It´s purely about the YouTube Channel.

Should i create a brand account with my sister as the owner and myself as the channel manager? Could that be enough?

Should i use a VPN inside a virtual machine to upload my videos? Should I even try to hide who the channel manager (me) is?

Any suggestions?

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure to setup everything the right way before investing time and money.

You can keep the same number at the end when a service is over or you move you usually get a new phone number and this is register to someone what should really matter is the rest of the info you are using, use same credit or debit card is a big no, but if you want to be safe and cover all posibilities a new number will do it for you and do not recommend you to get your info again you got already flagged channel will be on the eye of the storm if you use your info because of what you did, now you should only use your sister information never yours.

Use a different phone number, your family persons might already have that different number.

Start fresh with a new channel and phone number, it's the safest and most transparent option.
