My friend came to me with a concern: One of his adsense accounts was recently banned. He had one site with adsense ads on it. He is not sure why he was banned, but he has some other sites on the same godaddy hosting account and he is trying to get them indexed. these sites are legitimate non-adsense sites for his clients. at least two sites were created in the month prior to him getting banned, and these sites have been indexed by bing and yahoo, but google has not indexed them. I told him about the "sandbox" but he nor i have ever experienced google taking so long(or refusing) to index a site.

Does google look at other sites on shared hosting accounts when deciding to ad them to SERPs, or is this just a coincidence? Is it possible that these site on the hosting account will never be indexed?
note: other sites that were created before his adsense account went online are still being indexed and performing quite well with no change.

Thank you in advance for any knowledge or advice.

there is no linking between adsense and all his sites, whois data, ipnumbers/hosting accounts or whatever. You can be sure that there's another reason for it.

Is he using the same private nameservers for the domains or is he using Godaddy's nameservers? While I have not had that particular problem I could see Google possibly painting the domains on a set of private namesevers with the same brush but if he is using Godaddy's then I seriously doubt it as there could be 100's or even 1000's of sites sharing those all owned by different people and Google knows this.

Have you tried using one of the many stat site tools to index your site? Works for me everytime

I have clients that are banned from adsense... doesn't stop them from taking 5-8 links on page 1 for thousands of keywords.

Sucks that you got banned though...
