adsense auto ads placement!

heya I'm having trouble getting adsense to serve ads at the top and middle of my homepage it is choosing to serve 3 to 5 ads at the footer instead when i go into the auto ads settings and choose to exclude an area it is only showing 2 top spots and the rest at the bottom!

40% of the page is a custom made plugin that i include in the page by using a shortcode for it how can i add ads within the plugin ? keeping in mind adding manual code won't work since I'm using auto ads even after the plugin code there is paragraphs that adsense is refusing to serve ads between them is there a special code i can add between blocks to force ad placement ?

it had 3 areas that it can show ads in the header and 13 areas in the bottom at the footer!

it is only showing possible placements in the header and footer but the middle of the page between paragraphs it is not showing any areas where it will place ads i tried restricting the footer ads and excluding them but that only lead to me losing revenue in half almost and ads still won't show in the middle

with the current traffic I'm receiving i should be making around 3 to 5 daily revenue but so far it is only making 1 to 2 daily i think it is because of the ad placement
