Adsense and SEO HELP.PLEASE READ

I attempted to look these up online before I asked the forum but I have not been able to find a solid answer (usually brings up something unrelated). I have been studying SEO to learn it for myself because of so many people BSING about how they do this that and the other. WACK! lol

When it comes to Adsense and SEO what does the follow mean.

CPC?
CTR?
BACK LINKS?
SITE MAPS?
LINK BUILDING?
PR UPDATE?

if there are any other major "lingo" I am missing please feel free to through it out there.

If you google any of those terms a highly informative Wikipedia page will come up for each telling you exactly what they mean. I suggest you start by reading those.

Also, why is your text so dark as to be unreadable?
 
CPC= Cost Per Click, how much you pay per click
CTR= Click Through Rate, percentage of how many clicks you got out of the times the ad got viewed.
Back Links= links from other sites point to yours
Link Building= Getting links from other sites to point to yours
PR Update= Page Rank Update which refers to Google's Page Rank algorithm which shows how popular a site is

I tried to keep it nice and short but if you google them you will get more info on them.BTW, use different type of font color, had to highlight it to read it lol.

I will check that out. NOt sure why the txt is dark...it wasn't when I click "preview post".

Hi,

To create back links is not a separate thing, It's one of the part of link building. What you do in link building? You are generating only back links from different platforms like blogs, web 2.0 properties etc through link building :)
