Adsense and Keyword Search Volume

Hi folks,

Just looking for a bit of advice as I have never used adsense before.

What sort of search volume should I be looking at to make an adsense site worth while? I know this is a general enough question but if I was looking to make $500 - 1000 per month would I need huge volume? I have some keywords that are around 20,000 per month at the moment with about $1.50 CPC.

Go for atleast 1000 Search Per Month. CPC .50+. Go For Easy Keyword whether those make 100$/month Only, as you will get confidence.

At least $1 CPC and 1000+ searches. Keep in mind that is not how much you would get paid for the clicks. Google takes its 38% share (i think). Also at least 20-30 articles per site - you need content.

20k search volume ? Is this low competition? Maybe you try 3-5k search volume with very low competition. That's better to rank and earn well too.

Go with keywords of any search volumes with low competition, and publish many articles regularly.

You can also use low search volume keywords, as they are easy to rank. Don't ignore them just because they have less then 1000 searches per month.
