Adsense and football niche

i made video share website and got approved by adsense but problem is low rpm. I earn 1000-1500$ per month with 2m-3m visitors from usa and other tier1 countries. I upload football goals to my website and then share them on Reddit but my rpm is very low 0.42$ with below 5% click through rate. How can i improve this stat guys? i think i can earn more but adsense is serving ads that are not related to football at all. is it possible to tell adsense what my niche is??

You can modify the ads.txt for better targeting. It's some time ago but there was also the option to block/allow different networks/sites in adsense.

If you don't tried other ads you can splittest, maybe you can place streaming ads can get comissions. The IPTV/ Streaming niche could work very well

in my ads.txt file i only have my adsense pub-id in it. i will try block/allow thank

Are those the latest goals? And where do you source the video from? Do you host videos on your server?

login to adcense directly, go to advertisers, and check if there’s irrelevant ads - block them

yes i clip as soon as goal is scored and upload to my website. on my server and sometimes i upload to other sources and then directlink mp4 url

It's not difficult, you just need the domain to be approved by GG first and then you move to the video page
