No, it doesn't. It only needs ad manager and ad exchange approval. Those platforms are not as strict as Adsense with regards to getting a site approved. The only thing is, if your site has ever been banned by Adsense you would never be able to use Ezoic or any ad platform that use Google ads(ad manager, Adx).

To be frank, I don't know any network in the niche, I only know Amazon, which is basically general network for everyone.

You have to do the research yourself, check what your competitors are using.
