Adsense AD tips or tricks?

Ok, so at first my problem was keyword research and gaining traffic to my blogs. But now traffic is picking up steadily, but i still dont see much of an increase in my clicks in my Adsense account. Any tips on how to get people to click on ads more often without breaking googles rules?

Ive noticed some go with the "blending" theory, some go with the theory of making your site visually bland and the adsense ads stand out...kind of a toss up.
