Im having problems trying to place an adsense ad on my site. I applied for an adsnense account and it was prov approved and I had to place an ad on my site. But when I put the code in,the ad is underneath the writing. It is in tiny letters but I assume thats because it is a test ad. Is this the way it looks till approved? Or am I doing something wrong? I dont see what I could be doing as I copied and pasted the ad code into the html section of my blog. I tried adjusting the html code to move the writing down but im out of my depth and that just made it worse.

    Any help appreciated

Generally on a provisionally accepted account no ads are shown when you place the javascript in your page/site.

Thats what I thought but when I placed the code in the html an ad appeared. Small writing(as in not full ad size).

Leave it a day or two. See if it updates with a real ad.

I seem to remember when I first put adsense on a site, there was lots of white space, small writing, and two lines joining opposite corners, as if forming an "X".
