Adsense Ad Networks Block Lists

Hello lovely SEO friends,

you may heard some things about how to improve Adsense RPM. From what i have experience so far, is to block low RPM Ad Networks could higher RPM, but on the other hand lower Ad Coverage. There are even lists out there with recommendations which to block and which to keep.
Well, im not so sure about blocking Ad Networks, hence Adsense is (so far i understood) an auction house.
Does it make sense in your opinion to block certain Ad Networks and if, why?

It does make sense if you know that ad network is buying your inventory at a low price you could block them to potentially increase your cpm.
