Adsense accounts

Guys don't know where to post this,as adsense thread closed. It's preety noobish question but i gotta ask

So right now i have one site with approved adsense account, now i wanna make another one. In google FAQ it says it's no problem just make another site,generate codes from your account and place them and they will connect them (both sites with one account earnings)
Is this the right way to do it, or is there a chance i can mess something up with the accont this way. Or should i get new account for new site ?

1. Log in
2. Add new website
3. generate code
4. Paste code on #2 website
