AdSense account sale?

Some guy is offering me a few K for my aged AdSense account. He says he's in contact with Google support and it's fine and I'll be allowed to open a new one and he has a ton of leads so he needs the account badly.

Am I being punked here? Am I gong to be able to open a new one, or am I about to get scammed and permanently banned? Anyone with experience selling accounts like this?

It’s a scam. Google doesn’t allow transferring or selling AdSense accounts. If you do it, your account could get banned, and you’ll lose any earnings. Don’t risk it. Keep the account or close it properly.

A few thousand for an AdSense account? I think you just hit the jackpot.

No but seriously, this is most likely a scam.
1) Adsense accounts are not worth nowhere as much.
2) He is not in contact with "Google Support"

He’s either trying to get your account for free, who knows how, or he’s a “serious buyer” planning to abuse your account and Google with blackhat methods. That could later get you into serious trouble, if the AdSense account is under your legal name.
 
I've sold one of my AdSense account's but as far as I know, selling accounts are prohibited and so It's make sense that google support said it's fine it's sounds more like a scam

Ask him if he already made a parlay with NASA, too. That way, your deal will be safe all over the Solar system :cool:
 
that sounds like a scam. google doesn’t allow selling or transferring adsense accounts and doing it could get you banned for good. better to stay safe and keep your account.
 
It's an obvious scam, do not try it. He's nothing close to Google support.
 
old accounts (created pre-2022) do have search engine ad unit available (not all i believe),
they're used for arbitrage and could bring massive ROI when used right,
that's simply why people are paying 3-4 figures for these,

but getting in touch with google support for that? lol, that's a red flag and could be a scam,
it's like someone is telling you that he's in touch with the police while buying an unregistered gun,
so, it could be a possible scam, or a way to convince you

G allow only 1 user for each adsense unless you have some kind of deal with them which is probably not the case so it's probably a scam.
 
Even if it weren’t against the rules, giving someone access to an account tied to your identity and payment info is a terrible idea. Way too much can go wrong.
 
Definitely steer clear no deal is worth risking your reputation or future earnings with Google’s strict policies. Protect your account like it’s your digital fingerprint.
 
I myself sell adsense accounts with adsense approved sites ...now a days rates are low but still accounts a re selling ...but really need to avoid from scammers always find a middle man or get first payment 50% then hand over ..
