Adsense account safety with gray/blackhat techniques

I'm currently having pretty good success monetizing sites with affiliate offers. That being said, I've been thinking about trying out Adsense to hit more niches with less work.

Lets say I'm using a PBN, SAPE links, or some spammy link building method and get caught. If a website gets penalized, will that be grounds for having the adsense account banned as well?

No your Adsense account won't be banned from spammy link building practices.

Im confused. Google will not Ban for spammy Backlink ? Why not ?

Why would they ban you when they have tanked your website?

They will smack your site down, but you will still be free to make them money with your Adsense account lol
