Adsense: 1 click = 1$ another click = 3cent.

I just want to know why i suddenly got 1 click worth 1$, and another worth 3 cent?

what determines what a click is worth?

one advertiser is paying $1 or more to be guaranteed on top, and another is paying less...

Ya I have Had 1 click $3.45 and another $0.13 on the same site its a crap shoot !!

I agree with that on the adsense forums alot of people say the picture ads pay more then text but text has a better CTR !!!

Smaller ad sizes so that the highest paying advertisers are the only ones showing.

I think you can't control that.

I agree with this too because the ads are always changing !!

If u have less ads more comp better pay, but if u have more ads u can also have better ctr, depends on ur niche.

But also the less ads you have the less chances for clicks but I wouldnt go crazy just have 3 max !!

Like mentioned earlier, you tend to get a better cpm with only one add. That way you know that only the top three paying ads will be displayed on your site.

I do have to disagree with the less ads, less ctr mindset though. I've actually increased my ctr marginally (about 1%) by cutting down to just one ad spot.

You can also google and find lists of websites that pay out low, then add them to your competing advertisers list so their ads don't display on your site.

What you make on clicks is determined on page quality and it is different for each individual page and whether or not Google has conversion data for your page (which they get through Adwords or Analytics and people who have conversion tracking enabled).

This guy writes a sentence worth a world and nobody cares. Even someone answers "You cannot control that"". Yes you can up to a level.

Rather than consuming all the adsense ads, try to use just one block of adsense. So it will only show adsense from the top adwords publishers. Otherwise, some poor advertisers will find place for their ads on your site if you allow more ads to be shown.

Sounds like first visitor was from USA..

and

the second visitor was from India ..

I just got a $1.75 click yesterday. The price depends on what niche or keywords that adsense see's.

yes. Geo-targeting is important if you want to get the most bang for your click.
