Adsense earnings fluctuate a lot, mate. You need to relax, keep publishing content, keep optimizing it for Adsense, keep optimizing your ads for higher earnings and then let everything happen while keeping an eye on your earnings and ads. When I did Adsense in 2014 (before getting my account terminated for buying clicks) I had days of only earning a few cents, followed by spikes of delicious $10+ per click periods.
This had happened before purchasing clicks, like I said. Also, it's true that I rarely bothered optimizing my content and ads (I've been a newbie at Adsense back then), which might be why the earnings have fluctuated so much, but the point is that they do fluctuate. Sometimes, you will get no clicks and no income for days (especially if you're targeting low competition keywords), while other times you might get $10-20 per click, or more, which will make up for any incomeless periods you may have suffered until that point. In the end, however your income will average itself out and you'll get a good paycheck if you don't do stupid things like me (buying clicks that is)...
So anyway, just focus on publishing more content, getting better rankings so you can get more traffic -> clicks -> revenue and do not stress about the inevitable periods of zero / little income. They're normal with Adsense... in the beginning anyway....
