They are reliable and I had damn good result with them.

Adscend is good but just recently got a level 2 suspension. I was testing a new idea and they won't even pay me for the leads I did legitimately earn. And it didn't matter because a majority of my leads were mobile, which = instant conversions. Took my money and that was that.
 
I don't know if they shave or what, but my conversion went down a lot after the dos attack :(

Oh, and i also tried doing one of those super easy submits.. I submitted my info, email etc and got all the way to the end of the survey. Didn't get a lead for that lol... so yeah, something is shady.

secretboy, you were found to be promoting a credit report offer via craigslist. the advertiser scrubbed a good portion of your leads. don't blame us for that - honestly, you were lucky to be paid on those at all.

i test email submits all the time and often don't get credited. that's been discussed in other threads so i won't delve into that.

but to address the OP, you had 4,000 clicks and 1 lead. so how many leads do you think that you "really" had? 3? 5? 10? I don't mean to call you out on this, but really think about it for a second. How much sense would it make for any network to shave 2/3 or 4/5 or 9/10 of your leads? We don't shave anything, but if we were going to we would be a little more subtle about it and keep your conversions high enough for you to keep sending more traffic. So what you suggest doesn't make sense even from that angle.

I'm not sure why there's such a blame-the-network mentality (even from people caught doing something they shouldn't be), but if you have an issue with conversion rates or anything else, you can always contact me or your AM. If you're not satisfied with the response we give you then you at least have that response to include in your post and let everyone judge your problem from both angles. ;)
 
You know what Mr. AM? Kiss off. The advertiser does not allow CL. Screw you. Why? Cause it actually makes money? Tell me hotshot, are we supposed to succeed or just be useful idiots? He was lucky to get paid? The leads converted. You want money or not? I am sick of this.
 
@buddyboy: CL credit report traffic does NOT convert for an advertiser at all, so you stop talking BS. He should be happy he even got paid out for some leads indeed. Folks looking for a job or an apartment on CL are not interested in a credit report and certainly don't want to get charged for it a month afterwards, this type of marketing only leads to complaints/further loss of reputation for the advertiser and doesn't weigh up to the 20% of the leads that may not have complained/cancelled to late.
 
How do you know how he promoted it? Who are you to impugn his reputation? Maybe he used financial services. And when did this place get so righteous anyway? When they started letting the enemy in? Wisen up. This isn't about conversions, this is about getting out of paying. I am sick of coming to BHW and listening to WH posers kiss up to AM's. Ya either get played or be the player. These companies are nothing but scams themselves. I should know. Ripping off these advertisers as you put it, if that is what went on, is like robbing a con artist. Who do you really feel for? I get legit leads, and not many, but people are tired of shaving and tired of the screw job, so things are going to happen. And BTW, legit leads, cause a lot of hassle to unsuspecting consumers who actually think they will get the ipad.
 
I am done here. This is pointless. First we lose this then that, then we aren't able to talk about this company or that company. I want the no holds barred BHW back.

Actually also, they are withholding our entire check while they sort through matter, so we could potentially be losing a fair amount of money, since we already paid for much of the leads.

My only point is that if you do something that is not allowed then you're taking a gamble and should be ready for consequences if you are caught. You can at least acknowledge that you got caught and not act like we screwed you out of earnings because we're shady.

Guys please stop flaming Adscend.

AdscendMedia is a great network and by far the best CPA network I have used. Jeremy is always there to help and their Affiliate managers are great and friendly.

Like Jeremy said, if you are doing something that isnt allowed/legal then you are taking a gamble and should be ready for consequences. Please dont cry.
 
Jokerz you are legit as it comes here and I respect you but my problem is not with you or even Adscend or really Jeremy, it is just that he came off like we all wonder they think, we pay you if we feel like it, if we don't piss off. It is not craigslists or any one thing it is anything they can do to avoid pay.
 
After using EVERY incentive cpa network out there, I constantly make $0.20 EPC or more a day with Adscend where others I was around $0.08 every day.

DO NOT PROMOTE OFFERS THAT HAVE PEOPLE WHO DON'T THINK THEY ARE GETTING CHARGED A MONTHLY FEE ON CRAIGSLIST!!!

Of course they are going to call and bitch, and say that the CRAIGSLIST add said it was FREE!

You can promote anyone's offers on Craigslist as long as you are smart.
 
this network is shady, a lot of complaints on these forums I suggest you stay away from it... I did many various offers on this network and compared to other networks t his one pays 1/10 of what I should be earning. If you wanna earn big bucks this isn't the network to go with.. Example: Did offer, made 5k on main network, switched over to this network and made $1200..just because he has AM by his name doesn't mean he automatically earns respect.

Guys, the advertisers are the boss when you're in IM. They're positioning themselves on ad networks to gain more potential customers. That's the ONLY reason they pay you. If you post an ad on CL saying something like "I have a house for sale" and then send them an e-mail telling them the house sold, or to sign up for a credit report before you show them the house, it makes sense that the advertiser would "scrub" your leads. The advertisers want people who are genuinely interested in their products...not someone who is filling out the offer just because they want to see a house. The advertiser WILL follow up with the lead that you provided them (especially email submits) and if they're not getting conversions from people who are genuinely interested in their products....then why should they pay you? There is a reason why they're on the network. Make sense? Same applies with AdSense. Stop complaining about "shaving" and come up with creative ways to get them really targeted leads. ;P

Same thing for me, I was testing some of their [submit] offers that say they "convert on first page submit", I did them myself, nothing; figured "ok it's cause they know my IP" tried proxys nothing; figured "ok it's because they are public proxys" then tried having a friend submit, yet again nothing... :(
