Been 11 days since I've uploaded it yet Ad-Sense still couldn't detect it and continue to give me the error message. Should I wait longer?

Dont worry about it. As long as you see ads.txt when you browse it and not blocked from htaccess or robots.txt, its just fine.

Did you clear cache? If not do it and refresh it should work

How do I know if it's blocked from either one? I can crawl on webmaster with no problem if that helps.
My browser cache or wordpress? Still can't find any ads on my site

yes public_html it even shows up after http:example.com/ads.txt

It may take 1-2 weeks for the error message to go away, you just have to wait.

What ads do adsense accept? I don't want to incur a ban lol since they are so touchy about which ads u may/may not use

AdSense provides ads, they don't accept it (AdWords does, it's advertisers/backend side of AdSense).
AdSense has no issues with other ad networks.

AdSense has no issue if you use another network. More to that DFP/GAM is an ad server by Google, and the main idea of ad server - running multiple ad networks. So, you can run dozen or more ad networks along with AdSense and not to worry about using multiple ad networks. I would also add that AdSense is one of the riskiest and lowest paying ad networks, so if I were you, I’d be looking for additional networks anyway.

I've went through your thread(ad-sense alternative) many times but sometimes I couldn't find the publisher tab on the websites. Do you have any recommendation that worked for you? I only know media.net being the best one and arbitrage(if you have the traffic)

Media.net and many other ad networks working well through an ad server, not standalone.
The ad server (depending on the setup you choose) will make ad networks compete and if media.net has higher bid for impression than AdSense it will pull the Media.net ad unit instead of AdSense (or any other network) and vice-versa.
If your site doesn't have much traffic there are not too many ad networks that will take you in, but there's still a choice.
Ad networks like AdBlade (native/discovery ads) are relatively easy to get in with.
