I have heard it is better to place content/ads above the fold. Currently, I'm running a site where I have text content above the fold, but the main attraction of each page are my videos, which are below the fold. Naturally, I have placed my ads around the videos (below the fold) as that is the area which my viewers are focused on the most.
Would it benefit me at all if I were to move the ads/videos above the fold and the text below the fold? Or would it hurt me since Google won't see any textual content above the fold, instead just ads and videos?
What are your thoughts?
