Admin/ mods opinion on a feature needs addressing

Hi there mods and admin of the blackhatworld forum.

I am getting really upset and peed with the amount of ppl ,running to there pm to others to privately talk , it even happening half way down a journey they do it know.

There needs to be some sort of rules stopping all this ,goto pm box crazzyness .

Maybe charge ,per message for pm ,like a text message or packages ,but only let users of a set level alllow them ,this type of function/ feature

Or can be free where the mods have to authenticate the pm as not a sale .

All sale no matter what ,they should only be jvip .....

Anybody caught trying to sell anythink and not jvip thru pm should be ban

Please help , the whole forum about goto inbox ill pm you.

Surly something can be done .

I am sick and tired of reading a journey and a person get told ,goto your pm ,or i pm you ,and the journey stops ,all becouse of private pm convo...

Also when asking for somthink on the forum,a person not jvip try sell you the product thru pm, that no good ..

Please reply with your thorts....

People can just go to skype if pm costs money. And I think that's a bad idea.

And why should the mods approve them. They got better things to do

It about improving the forum not debating the idea ...

Maybe there should be a highlighted pm button glows so user or users no can pm them when thread is finish....

All pm are ignored till thread is finished so thread posting not disrupted...

All pm can only go thru when a thread is finished

I was thinking out loud i dont see this as bad feature just the forum covered in pm messages that all ...

What do you mean when the thread is closed? And dirupting threads?

If you're ever worried about things like this report the post. A mod will be more than happy to look into it, but with so many users and so many threads it's impossible to catch everything.

We sometimes miss these things if they are not reported.

That second to last one is a bit exaggerated, but it helps to get an idea of what it would look like should your suggestions be implemented.

You mentioned members disrupting threads outside of the marketplace/WTB/HaF sections with PM solicitations? Report that when you see it.

The other other solution is to not read journey threads, 99% are shit.
Probably my least favourite section on BHW.

The rule that should be introduced is, you are only allowed to create one journey at a time and can't create any more until you have completed or properly closed your previous one.

Lets also not forget that 99% of replies are "good luck", quality content right there.

I kinda wish I could just see his updates and not have to go through pages of good lucks just to see a update

It is a shame, as the journey section should be filled with excellent actionable material, there have been a few good journeys but most people don't know how to make use of the section properly.
