    hi

I have a problem with a cpanel addon domain. I have a main domain "maindomain.com" and an addondomain "addondomain.com"

when I enter addondomain.com in the browser it opens addoncomain.com BUT when I click on a link on addondomain.com it changes to maindomain.com/addondomain.com.

What is this? the addondomain (folder) is located in the folders "public_html" and in "www".

    addondomain zone file records
    Code:
    http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/3196/addondomain.png
    maindomain zone file records
    Code:
    http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3426/maindomain.png
what am I doing wrong? I bought the hosting on a forum so support from the guy who sold it is zero.

    ************************************************************************
Update: lol, noob mistake. Solution: Had to change in wordpress how the url should be displayed. working now.

    Home Page:
can't do too much, maybe a .htaccess restriction.

Those are the default settings for cPanel

    yup, redirect via .htaccess

A real easy solution to prevent this mess which seriously put a stall on my operations when I started(when I started, I only knew how to play with PS and write), is to get a reseller hosting account with various cpanel accesses.

If you can afford reseller hosting, get it instead of a shared package with a bunch of addon domains on it.

thanks for the replies. I already updated my first post. I resolved the problem by changing settings within wordpress. Working fine now.
